Rich Aromatherapy Moisturizer for Normal Skin
Making your own aromatherapy moisturizer suitable for normal skin
The following aromatherapy recipe uses a moisturizing base cream,
which has no fragrance, color or other additives. One advantage of using
a base cream is that home-made moisturizers do not always homogenize
completely and the cream may separate a little, although you can still
use it. This moisturizer is suitable for normal skins.
You will need the following ingredients to make this rich
aromatherapy moisturizer:
- 150 ml (5 fl oz) of moisturizing cream
- A large glass jar
- A chopstick
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) each of rose water and avocado oil
- 4 drops each of German chamomile, rose absolute, neroli and
lavender
- 3 drops each of palmarosa and rosewood
Steps to make your won rich moisturizer for normal skin:
- Measure the moisturizing base cream into the glass jar. Using the
chopstick, stir in the rose water and avocado oil.
- Add the German chamomile, rose absolute, neroli and lavender, and
then the palmarosa and rosewood. Stir well to incorporate them
thoroughly into the moisturizer.
